Lalitpur. Harkaraj Sampang Rai, Chairman of the Labor Culture Party, stated that they were compelled to enter the electoral arena because the old political parties have failed to work for the nation and the people. Addressing the party's election rally in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur on Saturday, he accused leaders of failing to improve the country's situation despite being elected multiple times by the public.
He asserted that the alternative now lies with forces that understand labor and culture. Chairman Sampang argued that when the country faced a crisis following the recent 'Gen Z' movement, leaders of the so-called major parties were nowhere to be seen.
He stated that instead of standing with the people during the crisis, they shirked responsibility. During his address, he also strongly attacked the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). Mentioning that the RSP, which arrived with the sound of a bell, is no longer a new party, he said that its chairman has served as Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister twice, making it impossible for him to claim to be 'new'.
Sampang also accused RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane of being implicated in the cooperative fraud case and shifting all his blame onto GB Rai. Criticizing that the party adopted the style of the old parties after gaining power, he commented that the public is being deceived in the name of novelty.
Stating that the real responsibility of building the nation rests on the shoulders of the youth, he clarified that his party has a clear plan to make youth power the main basis for production and development.
