Kathmandu. International flights operating via seven international airports have been canceled due to flight restrictions imposed on air travel.
Tek Nath Sitaula, General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), informed that all flights scheduled for this afternoon and evening from TIA were canceled because of flight restrictions at Sharjah, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Dammam airports.
He stated, 'All flights from Nepal scheduled for the afternoon and night have been canceled due to flight restrictions at Sharjah, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Dammam airports. Information regarding when flights will resume will be provided upon further decision.'
Similarly, the airport office has urged passengers to contact their respective airlines before heading to the airport for their flights.
